The full media cycle for an international charity: advertising materials, photo and video of every event, social media and news. Managed a team of five and taught journalism and design courses for teenagers. One example is the whole campaign for a charity concert: flyers, tickets, branded clothing, city lights and billboards, radio and newspaper ads.

Web interface design from YouTube tutorials, first freelance orders
Alongside the media job, I taught myself web UI by rebuilding websites and landing pages from tutorials, and took my first freelance order: Instagram posts presenting a client’s work, plus business cards to bring in new customers.

A Dutch volunteer initiative went live in Dutch, English and Ukrainian. I handled the whole chain: domain, email, SSL, design, build and a small custom plugin.

A mobile point-of-sale web app in Next.js and SQLite for the volunteer-run café, self-hosted with Docker and used by volunteers on their iPhones.

Projection at my church
I run the projector at services: slides and song lyrics on screen, the visuals and the technical side. To spend less time on routine, I built a free Claude Code skill that turns lyrics and their translation into bilingual ProPresenter 7 slides.

How I work
Budget first
I start with the low-cost, high-impact options and treat paid media as a boost, not the plan.
Decisions on paper
Playbooks, logs and checklists record what was decided and why, so the work survives handover.
AI as a tool
AI drafts, analyses and builds under my direction. I make the decisions and test the result before it ships.
Less routine, more creating
I look for new tools and speed up everything I do, so less time goes to routine and more to creating something good. Even at church, where it means serving people better.
