Privacy Policy

This is the personal portfolio of Dmytro Kartinnik, based in Hoogeveen, the Netherlands. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit dkartinnikdesigner.com or contact me, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

Dmytro Kartinnik, Hoogeveen, the Netherlands, is the controller of your personal data. You can reach me at d.kartinnik.designer@gmail.com.

What I collect

The site has no accounts, no contact forms, no newsletter, no analytics and no advertising. It does not use cookies (see the Cookie Policy). Personal data is processed only in two cases:

  • Visiting the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. I do not use this data to identify you or to build a profile.
  • Contacting me. If you email me or message me on LinkedIn, I receive your name, your contact details and whatever you write, and use them only to answer you and, if we agree on it, to work together.

Legal basis

Hosting data is processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in running a secure and working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages are processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering them, or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long I keep it

I keep messages as long as needed for our conversation or project, and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless the law requires me to keep them longer. Cloudflare keeps technical logs according to its own retention periods.

Who receives your data

I do not sell or share your data. Cloudflare, Inc. processes hosting data on my behalf as a processor; it may process data outside the European Economic Area, with safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Email and LinkedIn messages are also handled by the provider you and I use for them.

Links to other sites

The site links to other services, such as LinkedIn, Behance, Credly and the websites of projects I worked on. When you follow a link, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, contact me at d.kartinnik.designer@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

If the site starts collecting more data, for example through analytics or a contact form, I will update this policy first.
